Want boost? Have questions? You’ve come to the right place.

HELLO, THERE.

My name is Robert, and that’s my car in the banner. It’s a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Grand Touring with 19,781 miles. I’m the first and only owner, and she became my project car in 2017.

As the years wound on, I was headed down the route of a full bolt-on (FBO) build. You know the drill: headers, e85, manifold riser, stage 3 manifold, 3p8p true CAI, yadda yadda. By mid-2019, however, I felt like I was running out of mods to buy and things to do. I had two choices: boost it or sell it.

I had long considered boosting the car once it became my project, but things just didn’t feel right. The one available turbo kit in 2019 was missing essential pieces: no oil cooler, no spark plugs, no thermal management for wiring or piping, and no instructions. Plus tuning for the Gen wasn’t all that good, either. Can you imagine spending nearly $10,000 for that? Not only did you have to figure out a complicated kit all by yourself, you also had to know what they didn’t give you and buy that too.

I was ready to sell.

By late 2019, I got lucky and met the owner of Remnant Performance on Facebook. A chance meeting. He patiently answered every question that I had. He’d also just launched his new turbo kit, and had already uploaded an exhaustively detailed YouTube series for kit installation.

I was customer #7, and the rest is history.

Today, I’ve been boosted for a little over one year and I continue to improve my car’s power and handling with the wealth of new products and new information that have been inspired by competition in the Genesis Coupe 3.8 Turbo market. New tunes! New parts! New mods!

It’s been a very exciting time, and it helped me once more fall in love with the car I was about to sell. You feel me?

Since that time, I’ve had three missions:

  1. ARCHIVE: People find information on Google, but up-to-date information moved onto Facebook groups a long time ago. That information is not searchable on Google, and what’s left on the search engines is extremely outdated. I wanted to bring 2020 & 2021 info for the Genesis Coupe 3.8 into one place.

  2. HELP: I’ve learned a lot, made many mistakes, and asked many questions—especially for the Genesis Coupe 3.8 Turbo! I wanted to share my learnings and experiences with other people so they can get boosted faster.

  3. SIMPLIFY: The car community is intimidating, and many so-called “easy” tutorials assume a lot about the reader’s knowledge. I dream of a car culture that assumes less. A car culture without gate keeping. And that starts with easy and detailed information for beginner and advanced home mechanics.
